I'm glad I ran into this video. I'm working on some engineering hardware and using a matrix mold is absolutely ingenious for ensuring not wasting material. I'll be snagging some epoxamite for casting the more complex parts... Now to make something cool. EDIT: On second thought, for small parts, SmoothCast 300 would be better especially with a cure time of ten minutes

A high gloss clear over black, or high gloss black is better than a polished surface. I watched a Chinese fellow test a highly polished surface against gloss coat and the painted gloss surface had better reflectivity. You should NOT shake the aqua gloss, as that causes it to not work as well over the "chrome". e7 S-02 Chrome Sealer works awesome as a top coat clear for Alclad Chrome.

Looks quite like a movie prop! I would've expected you to use some clay in here or make the bones look more like bones than marshmallows, but y'know what? The glow up you have to this cheaply painted arm was just so great, I don't even think it matters. Keep up the ✨amazing✨ work, and have a great rest of your life! :D
